AWED is our most creative dive into subculture.

This project was born from the desire to teach and immerse people in the history and spirit of subcultures. Moving through four defining decades the 50s, 60s, 70s, and 80s AWED explores Teds, Mods, Shags, and Punks, combining hair with iconic quotes from speeches that shaped cultural moments. Each quote was carefully paired with a hairstyle from its era, creating a visual dialogue between words, identity, and history.

The goal was not just to create posters, but to bring subculture into the streets. At the end of the project, all the posters were put up across the city, the goal was to vandalise the city turning AWED into a visual representation of power, individuality, and anarchy a tangible way for the community to experience subculture firsthand.
